2023, Budget and OCP
who am I?
Born and bred in Montreal I moved to Pemberton in 1990 as a travelling cook and like many others, I fell in love with the valley and never left. I have owned several businesses in town starting with The Pony Espresso in 1995 ‘til 2009 and am currently part owner and operator of Town Square restaurant.
My biggest joy has been raising two kids, Alyssa and Oliver with my wife Tanya; having a family in this town amidst this community has been the greatest privilege imaginable and one I am grateful for pretty much every day. We live on a small property where we raise pigs, broiler chickens, layers, fruit and vegetables.
I am a basketball player, biker, hiker and a telemark skier (soon to be cross country skier or so my knees are telling me). I have been a proud coach of Pemberton Red Devils basketball teams at Pemberton Secondary for 17 years and counting and coached youth soccer for a number of years as well.
I decided to run for Council back in 2011 and then Mayor for two main reasons: 1. I am a lousy spectator & 2. I have a deep sense of belonging here and a passion for this valley and this community.
Thanks for your interest, please dig a little deeper and as always, I’m available for a conversation. Contact info is below.
